To start the problem off you hsve to box the squared number, which is 500. Next, you find the biggest number that goes into 500, then see that number times the second number that equals 500.
It may be more useful when it comes to something like a test. Sometimes the tests would simplify all the way, so you need to know how to completely finish the problem. You can verify if two functions are inverse if it equals "x". If the two do not equal "x", it's not a function.
I feel like Xy * Xz= Xyz would always be true. Just because there's nothing else to work with.
1. Xcubed+3xsquared-54x: The first step needed to factor this problem is to take away the r's and put them where they need to go in and outside of the parenthesis. One r on the outside of the parenthesis, and two different sets of parenthesis with an r starting in each. Step two would be to find all of the numbers that in this case, go into 54. Once those numbers are found, find which two numbers subtract to 3.

When you add a positive number to the equation after a function the point is located higher on the graph. 2.
